Tozertalks.com exists to make the Chicago and Toronto pulpit ministries of the late A.W. Tozer available to everyday followers of Jesus Christ.
These weekly posts are produced and transcribed from a library of over 600 audio messages. The messages were recorded from 1953-1963, with the majority coming from Chicago’s Southside Christian and Missionary Alliance Church located at 70th and Union in the city’s Englewood Community. In January 1960, Mr. Tozer then became the preaching pastor at the Avenue Road Church, now Bayview Glen Church in Toronto, Canada until his death in Spring 1963.
Since Mr. Tozer’s first devotional book, The Pursuit of God (1948) through The Knowledge of the Holy (1961), his teachings have been sought by hungry seekers around the world. By providing weekly blog posts of his pulpit messages on tozertalks.com, it is hoped new generations of what he called, the “Burning Hearts Society,” can be kindled and warmed by these weekly sermons and archive.
